POLICIES
OCCUPANCY: 2 adults unless special arrangements are made in advance
RATES: Quoted are for 2 people. They are all inclusive. There are no extra charges or fees.
PAYMENT OPTIONS: For fees of $1000 or more, you may have the option of paying a deposit of half to secure the reservation. For shorter stays, reservation is secured by payment in full.
MINIMUM STAY: Stays of two nights minimum apply most of the year. Summer and holidays may require longer stays and special rates may apply. In general, rates are lowest for the longest stays.
CANCELLATION POLICY: A full refund of the deposit minus a cancellation fee* will be granted if cancellation is made 31 or more days before the date of scheduled arrival. A 50% refund of the deposit will be granted if cancellation is made 15 to 30 days prior to arrival. There are no refunds for no shows or abbreviated stays. Cancellation fee for stays of 4 nights or more: $200. Fee for shorter stays: $75. An exception will be made in winter to this policy with cancellations that are due to expected storms. A full refund will be granted prior to entry but none for abbreviated stays.
PLEASE NOTE that the property was once woods and although beautiful and almost always quiet, neither the cottage not the main house is immune to bad weather, critters, power outages and other such country things. We certainly do our best to prepare for contingencies that are beyond our control. Also be aware that the property is between cell phone towers so it is rare for a cell phone to work until you reach the main road. There is WiFi and a phone with answering machine so you can make and receive calls. Many guests have expressed delight at the positive effect on their vacation; and of course, cell phone service is available at most shopping centers along the road.
